Elizabeth McGuire is an Assistant Professor of history at California State East Bay where she specializes in the global communism, specifically the relationship between modern Russia and China. She is the author of Red at Heart: How Chinese Communists Fell in Love with the Russian Revolution published by Oxford University Press. Her new research focuses on the International Children Home, 1933-1991.
